
GAZTEFILM FEST
GazteFilm Fest is a project led by Zinhezba, an association with over 20 years of experience in children’s and youth cinema, and Kalakalab, an innovative film production company that focuses on youth and cultural initiatives in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
After years of collaboration and mutual growth, Zinhezba and Kalakalab decided to join forces to create a shared project: GazteFilm Fest.
This festival is built around a collective educational experience in which children actively take part through hands-on activities.
The project stands out as a film festival created by and for children, making it unique worldwide. Among the many activities that make up the festival, the following are particularly noteworthy:

Participatory dubbing by and for children. Girls and boys lend their voices in Basque to two of the feature films in the Official Selection, and also dub short films from other sections of the festival.
